The English teacher choose a book.
The students read during their library period then write a paragraph summarizing what they read.
Book of the week
The librarian choose a book for the students who summarize it.
She would then displays all the details for the students to read
on their own.
Contests between the students
The librarian holds a knowledge bowl competition.
The two classes answer questions in turn
The winner receives a prize.
CMS Library magazine
This is an internal monthly magazine .It is prepared by the librarian from different sources including, Time, National Geographic, Community Times, and the English daily newspaper.
Give the meaning of the word
The librarian give them a list of words; these words need to be defined and or give a synonym.
At CMS we have 2 libraries:-
Senior for High & Middle schools
Junior for Elementary & KGS
* Student regularly visit the library, read, research, log onto the Internet for further information curricular activities in all subjects.
* A library schedule is available?
* Teachers of English, science social studies make good use of the library books available.
* National International events, the rich charts, wall magazines, newsletters and researches done are in the library with focus on religious feasts
* World news is always displayed.
* The librarians are always available for guidance & help.
